Buttons is an Australian Sheppard. He is 9 years old and has ruptured both of his cruciate ligaments. During the recovery from surgery the first time he tore his ACL, he was able to swim in his own swimming pool at home. But the cruciate ligament in his other leg went next. This often happens because a dog will compensate so much for the injured leg that the cruciate will tear in the good leg.
Since Fall had arrived, swimming in his own pool was not an option. He now comes once a week to enjoy the warm salt water at Canine Water Wellness. He is improving rapidly and has regained muscle in both of his hind legs.
