Kraven was one of our first new customers. He is a 10 month old Rottweiler, who just can’t wait to get into the water. While playing in the snow with his big brother, he suffered a severely pulled groin muscle.
When x-rays were done, he was also diagnosed with early signs of hip dysplasia. Ricardo, his owner, had taken him to see Dr. Beltran at Blair Animal Hospital and hydrotherapy was recommended.
With short walks and two swims a week in the warm salt water of the pool, the groin muscle soon healed. Kraven is now on a maintenance schedule of swimming once a week to prevent muscle wastage and further stiffness of the affected joints.
